
Installing sipgate on your iPhone is easy. At first you have to start your AppTapp Installer.
- sipgate requires the "BSD Subsystem" for installation. Unless you already installed it, please tap on the second left icon the labelled "Install" select the "System" category, then "BSD Subsystem" and then on the button "Install" on the top right of your screen
- Tap on "Sources" on the bottom right and add sipgate.co.uk as a new Source by tapping on "Edit" on the top right followed by "Add" on the top left.
- Enter "http://iphone.sipgate.co.uk " into the Overlay box labeled "Add Source" and tap "OK". Allow a few seconds for the Installer to refresh its sources.
- Tap on the second left icon on the bottom labelled "Install" and select the new category by the name of "sipgate". Further tap on "sipgate VoIP" and then the "Install" button on the top right.
The installer will now take a while to install sipgate.
Once it is finishes and you unlock your screen saver you will find a "sipgate" on your start screen. You are now ready to configure and use sipgate.
sipgate is easy to use and to set up in a snap. Once you have installed sipgate on the iPhone you can use your iPhone to place and receive calls over the Internet. In order to use sipgate start the software and tap on "configure Account" on the top right.
- Please enter your SIP-ID and your SIP password. You will find the SIP password in your sipgate account under "Settings".
- Note: The password is case sensitive.
The sipgate iPhone client is the latest development by the sipgate lab and it is still beta. We apologize if some of the functions don't work properly yet. Our team is continuously working on improving this release.
