A nice choice for your VoIP needs is the analog telephone adapter 'HandyTone 486'. Most “normal” phones with touchtone can be used with this adapter as an IP telephone. You still get the full use of your telephone, even phones such as a cordless telephone, but you also get favourable tariff rates and even free calls world-wide to sipgate participants or in foreign IP networks!

Router integrated

A fully working router is integrated in the HandyTone 486 ATA. A small change, a large effect: the adapter can be operated directly at a DSL modem! Your entrance into Voice over IP

Simply plug in your ATA-486, and it should work after minor configuration changes. The HT-486 in combination with sipgate offers everything that you need for the entrance into the Voice over IP technology. The HT–486 is fully compatible with SIP industry standard. Moreover, it supports comprehensive voice codecs including G.711, G.723.1, G.726, G.728, G.729A/B/E and iLBC.
